Think we have all been there. Cheese is a good filler on it's own or wrapped in some ham, cucumber, celery filled with peanut butter or Philly cheese, nuts , pate` chicken slices, sugar free jelly,a few berries with cream.no doubt somebody will come up with more, just can't think more at the momentI have been following Dr Bernstein's diet for three weeks and this is the first time I am hungry after a meal.
What can I do with this hunger without eating carbs?
Did you experience hunger too?
Yes I get this sometimes... usually have about 30-50g of cheese or a couple of tablespoons of thickened cream (yum!)I have been following Dr Bernstein's diet for three weeks and this is the first time I am hungry after a meal.

Yes - all of the above for me too. I eat pistachios while binge watching tv (thinking of msmi's post above) - great lchf substitute for popcorn. Almonds are great, and brazil nuts marvellous for zinc deficient countries (like nz). Camembert or brie, as a good fatty probiotic tummy filler works a treat - especially if you add some sauerkraut or kimchi to the plate.
Almond butter on celery sticks - nutritious, filling (it takes ages to eat cos of the chewy celery fibre), and the almond butter is delicious. That's my stand-by for hungry moments. (And I experience hunger keenly and a lot.)
Lucky you!!pistachios & cashew nuts are delicious. unfortunately for me, i pay the piper (with interest) every time i indulge..so many great ideas, this thread is making me hungry..
