Congratulations!!
A practical point - In the early days, it is easy to hypo and you can loose your warning signals, so make sure you do a bm very last thing and keep your monitor and snacks by the bed! Hypo's, if treated do not affect the baby, so don't panic about them, but treat them gently rather as going high is what can affect the baby's development. Come the 2nd and 3rd trimester, thats when your insulin requirements increase quite dramatically, so regular testing and altering of insulin requirements is required, but don't get panicky about it, it becomes second nature very quickly.
The key to a good pregnancy is good support, which it seems like your team is on the ball!!
Most importnantly though, enjoy!
