Hi Rowan, I find I can eat crabs as long as I don't have too many in one meal so what you're saying makes sense to me. And yep, there is no substitute!

My nearest Waitrose doesn't have it often so no, I've not been able to try it yet.
But I think that might be the bread I really need, I've just tested again and I'm 8.3 after 3 hours, a rise of almost 3 so Nimble is not good for me, buggrit!
Yeah I do fried bread either in olive oil coconut oil or dripping.I'm also going to try a slice of fried bread with a fry-up, some people here say they can eat fried bread without a spike, hope I'm one of them!

I have reintroduced more carbs back into my life but got to stay vigilant and got to test test test.
I can tolerate the nimble, but only a weeny half slice. My waitrose are low on the livlife often too. There is also one that sainsbrys do - HiLo, but it's not as nice .

What I do is put a bit of toast on my butter .... helps slow it down that way.
