Hi
I have had type 2 for a number of years I have had a number of tablet combinations at present I'm on Insulatard slow release insulin which is injected at night, I started on 12 units this has been increased a number of times I was last on 18 units until last night I injected 28 units. In the mornings I am getting readings of about 19's even with the increase
I am also taking 2 metformin 500mg & 2 gliclazide 80mg twice daily
Through the day I also have readings of about 17's at best
I can't get my levels down where they should be I have seen the diabetic nurse and she is only want to do it in little bits at a time
Apart from diet which I'm working on is there anything that can help to get my sugars to a better level than they are
