I Don't Exercise But!!

Hi All, My relatives would say that I don't exercise and they would be right until I was told to stop driving due to sleep epnoea & now I have a bikeinabike.com folding bicycle & have found that I enjoy cycling again except going up hill where I would fold up the bike a catch a bus. I live in Croydon, London in the hilly aera of the borough and only really use the bike when going to work at weekend. I would like to go back to a mountain bike but I need to increase the handle bar hight due to a disability I have in my arms, once that is sorted. I'll join a cycle touring club & start again.

Well done. It is always better, I think, to do an excercise that you actually enjoy otherwise it can get to be a bit of a chore. Keep up the good work.

I have been hitting the treadmill ar the gym twice a day and i ....absolutely hate it !
Im 160kg and its painful ,im breathless ,im sweating profusely and i put it on incline a force myself for 15 minutes

I thought after a week its not doing me any good BUT today i couldnt hail a taxi to take me home from shopping ,they were all full on this Thursday evening so i ....walked the 30 minutes to my house ...and you know what...I actually even though im 160kg ,I actually walked faster than people half my weight and i felt stronger and fitter
I felt i had more energy as i nearly knocked people out of the way and i felt proud of myself :p

So keep up the hard exercise!!! Even if feel its not doing any good keep persevering , At least you enjoy yours

Way to go! Keep it up! I keep thinking that every gramme of fat that I replace with lean, active muscle tissue is a bonus even if my weight does not decrease.
