I feel really ill!!

Hi everyone,
The other half has just managed to get over flu!
I feel awful, got this real bad headache that just won't go away even after taking painkillers, keep feeling sick! My bones ache, got a cough! I feel as disgusting as this sounds that something is driping into the back of my throat in my chest! Sorry for that!
My throat is sore even to try and eat! the roof of my mouth feels really sore! I feel like i am falling apart!
My head is banging! Feels like a set of drums in there and someone having right fun!
I just wondered is someone can advise something i can take to ease the pain!

Sounds like you need to contact your doctor - by phone. Don't go to the surgery just in case it is swine flu.
Keep a close eye on your blood sugar, also check for ketones, and tell your doctor the readings. Take plenty of clear fluids and if you haven't got any sugar-free throat sweets then some warm no-added-sugar ribena is soothing on a sore throat.

Definitely sounds like flu.
Call the doctor and then tell us how you get on.

Sounds like the flu. Make sure you have plenty of medical supplies as your requirements will increase. I hope your boyfriend will take good care of you.

spoke to my gp she says she thinks i have flu! mixed with throat infection!
other half went out and picked up a few supplies as well as a mouth wash!
feel really ill! spent most of today in bed!
