I forgot the name ;L

Beginning with b I will have a punt at a bayer one, there is a few different models though so couldn't guess which.

its some new machine or something, its for like insulin dose/carbs and stuff its really was to much info to take it all at once haha! owell i'm on a waiting list for one or something
 
Am thinking rather than just logging insulin doses and carbs it will have a bolus advisor. You just work out the amount of carbs your eating and it advises an insulin dose taking into account your current levels. You do however have to input once in the machine your carb ratios. Once thats correct, the machine does all the maths for you. Still a bit to work out though I.e if exercising you have to tell the machine a % to take off etc

The Accu-Chek Aviva Expert calculates insulin doses for you based on the information you enter into the meter, you do need an hours training before being given the meter so I wonder if this is what your dietitian is referring to, can't think why they'd be a waiting list for say a meter like the USB, if you ring the Bayer helpline they'll send you one out for free knowing your type 1 and test multiple times a day.
