I have diabetes – can I have sex?

of course you can!

although, as with any "strenuous" exercise its worth having a quick snack beforehand.
better slightly high than ending up low
belive me you DO NOT want to have a hypo half way through, it does not end well.
much frustration and oddness ensues.
 
Diaabetes is not a bar to sex, but you don't sound sure you want to. My advice would be "Wait until you are sure" Are you very young? don't do something you don't want, can't undo and may regret.

There isn't a Diabetic Karma-Sutra out there yet but adapt one of the seven and enjoy yourself.

I felt a little bit like Hana , upon reading your post .

Please dont feel shy or under pressure if you arn't yet sure .
Talk about it all firstly with your partner if you can ? .

Sex isnt a barrier with your Diabetes , just have a nibble of something carby
like a few crackers/biscuit before then you should be fine .

I think that crumbs in the bed are more of a barrier!! Not to forget blood tests between orgasms! I was sooooo tempted to be crude but would probably get banned. Just do it!
 
Diabetes does not stop you enjoying sex.
 
I would swap diabetes for sex anyday!! Last time I went to doc for check ups, he advised me with regards to erectile disfunction...something I did not know about. Apparently diabetes can be a possible cause!!. So I would advise a visit too your doc and ask her/him.Dont loose out due to embarrassment.
 
Erectile Dysfunction can be cured with the thought of Kate Beckinsale in a thong.
