Hi to all,

I had my Superpubic Catheter Operation on Friday Morning All went Well my blood sugars were Great.
The Only Problem I had afterwards was Servre Redness Around My SPC still there looks awafull I was clear until day 2 had 2x antibiotics Very Sore & looks Thick on Skin took swabs & Doctors still not happy it Looks Yuck going back to tell them at the doctors on Monday morning.

Hi to all,

I have been back to the doctors as had green gunk comming out of my drain site took another swab not anymore antbiocs yes they want to get the Result back first

Op still painfull & oussing
Hope it's going to be less time consuming in the long run @Lot easier to Urinate
Really pleased I had the op done .

My Blood Sugers R great and I've lost some weight @t last.

Take care of that wound, @sparklebright62 . Do not hesitate to get medical help if you have any worries about it, especially if you have a high temperature.
Hopefully the swab will identify the best antibiotic to treat the infected wound. Rest and get well soon.

Hi to all,

Thankyou for the Replys yesterday I had more redness and still feel sore trying to keep it clean very hard to keep dry as their is a space around my tube site so have to keep changing underwear but a lot better than the virginal catheter doesn't hurt now.
But I am still on strong meds and feels itchy but I will be glad when my pain has gone more and I don't have an infection
At all.
Not long for Xmas now need to buy Rest of Grandchildrens C Presants so it's All done before the Day Arrives.

I am still getting over Halloween, and Diwali, anticipating Bonfire night, but haven’t thought about Christmas, yet. :D.
