Hi,
Just wanted to share, 5 years T1 on Insuin and Metforming, was always having extremely high and low BG readings, but now my BG readings have signicicantly improved by a couple of simple changes
I would advise taking insulin before you eat, possibly 5 mins (i find)
I also take 1 metforming tablet @ breakfast, 1 @ Lunch and 2 @ Dinner (being the biggest meal of the day)
I also take 2 sea kelp tablets at Breakfast but not convinced this has any effect, but it may do
I have found that adjusting to this routine has significantly improved my sugar levels, back in April my ha1bc was 14, i am looking forward to going back to the clinic next month, and im sure i will have a least halved that (7 something)
My 14 day average BG is 7.4, which has slightly increased over the last few days due to birthdays etc
