I made gold from used test-strips!

With plenty of time on my hands this week I tried something I read about - getting tiny quantities of gold from old mobile phones. A few attempts ( more error than trial), I ended up with a tiny dot of possibly good quality gold. Enough for a stud or a small tooth cap?
I won't give the exact process.

For test strips I think the energy requirement would make it commercially unviable in relation to the amount of gold recovered? Have you done the sums?
