I am on a low sugar low carb diet and am loosing too much weight . I am exercising trying to put on muscle but the weight keeps coming off.
I am now 12st 3lb down from 14st 7lb and for a 6 ft guy this is too much of a loss yes I look slim but feel as if I have lost muscle.
I would appreciate some pointers to stabilise my weight but putting on muscle mass. I eat two eggs a day cheese and other protein. ride about 35miles a week, do situps squats, lift moderate weights - dumbbells +10kg, press ups. Am I not doing enough. Blood sugar is at the best erratic HBA1c 53 last time, now 58.
this is driving me nuts.

How many calories per day are you eating? What does your daily diet look like, exactly?

What type of diabetes do you have and how is it treated?

Are you not doing enough of what? Most of what you do seems to be designed to take weight off. Riding, situps, squats, weights, dumbbells, press ups.

Perhaps you could slow down a bit and eat some very low GI carbs and see what happens.

Your profile does not mention if you are diabetic, are you? This will affect the advice you might get from here.

Your BMI is 23.2 so in the "healthy range" (Above 24.9 is classed as overweight), so you may not need to put very much weight on. http://www.diabetes.co.uk/bmi.html

If you tell us what a typical day's food is we may come up with some ideas.

Are you getting adequate vitamins and minerals?

If this is the basics of your 24/7 food/exercise you need to really sit down and check your calories, vitamins and minerals as I think you are lacking in them all.
