Thanks for your reply ,Hi @SUPAMARIO and welcome to our forum.
First of all, I have been diagnosed with helicobactor pylori about fifteen years ago.
What did you have for those readings for that meal?
It's good that you have recognised that carbs are the issue.
What tests have you had to diagnosed as prediabetic?
Where they after a fasting test of a non fasting test for a blood panel including hba1c test?
Regardless of those questions, you can get control by a change in your eating habits and lifestyle changes.
But it depends on you.
Conditions under the diabetes umbrella are so individual, we can only guide you and suggest things from our successful experience.
Have you had the anti biotic to get rid of the Helicobactor pylori?
It worked for me!
Best wishes
Hi ,Thanks for the great forumHi @SUPAMARIO , welcome to the forum.
What about making an appointment to have your hba1c tested so you know where you stand first?
Hi ,First step as you have concerns is to go see your dr and get a proper test done.
Whilst those finger prick numbers might look higher than perfect example after food it could very much be effected by what you ate. And it’s a one off test, hardly diagnostic.
Don’t be afraid to eat. Go ahead and cut out the obvious sugary rubbish as it does no one any good and be a bit more aware of the starchy carbs (no one needs ridiculous amounts and choose to eat the real food versions other than processed ones) but until you know what sort of levels you actually have over time then it’s all guess work.
Get the test (hba1c) and the the result in numbers - not a worded opinion- and come back here if it’s not great.
sure will , thanksIf you are officially pre-diabetic then cutting carbs gently should make a big difference at this stage, but you need to talk with your GP as we cannot diagnose anyone in the forum.
