I think I have flu...

So I have the symptoms of flu and feel just horrific. Supposed to get my flu jab in 11 days so that was an epic fail. My diabetes is really hard to control and I just don't feel like drinking or eating.

Should I go to the GP tomorrow or wait it out? Diabetes isn't the only thing wrong with me (I have low blood pressure, tachycardia, amongst other issues and use a wheelchair). I don't want to go there for nothing and put others at risk but the NHS website says to see the GP if you are diabetic and have flu.

Bi @HMurg, I you can, do some BSLs fasting (first thing in the morning), and 2 hours after meals to give to your GP.
These readings will help him/her to gauge how well or not your body is coping with the stress of the illness as regards your diabetes. I always try to do this when visiting my GP when unwell.
Best Wishes for a speeedy recovery.
