I think non of my NovoRapid went in - Help

Hi @O_DP_T1 ,

Have you checked your pen is working properly? You should be able to fire 20 units into a needle cover up to the red line on the picture illustrating below....
Try a new cartridge & needle too. The bung in the insulin cartridge could be jammed or dragging. It's also possible the needle maybe clogged?
If not? Discard the actual pen

Pen is fine used it earlier and it works. Pre lunch bolus it was 4.1.

Why oh why does NR take so long to drop a high BGL, this is gonna take over an hour now!!!:banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead: And I am getting hungry!!!!

It should be called NovoSlowdip!!!!

Can you eat something low/no-carb to sate your hunger?
If you have insulin on board, I don't think the protein would have much, or any affect on your BG.

I find this too- When I am running high I need much more than my usual correction dose...

When my BG is very high (usually above 14), I need at least 50% extra insulin to correct and, if it is very high, I need twice as much.
From my understanding, it is not unusual to become temporarily insulin resistant at high BG.
But, this means extra testing is needed in case of over dosing.

It could be a crack in the cartridge too.
