I thought I had no symptoms but....

Hi all,

I was diagnosed in Dec after a urine test, no symptoms, it came out of the blue.

Yesterday it occured to me that I may have been having symptoms and not knowing.
It occured to me that my hands on waking were not aching and I no longer have to 'get them moving' in the morning. I thought I was starting with arthritis.

Now I'm thinking it may well have been a side effect of undiagnosed db and the improvement is down to lower bg levels.

Anyone else had similar?

It may have been the undiagnosed diabetes as having high sugar levels can make you lifeless, very tired.

I thought I had arthritis too. But now I can get up and down stairs easily without terrible pain in my knees.

I thought it was coincidence, but maybe not........
