But, big cats with sabre teeth could sneak up on you undetected and eat you alive, thus forcing you either back into the trees or to live in holes under the ground. Our knees are back to front and the wrong way around for out running swift predators. If you're going for a walk in the Serengeti Park, you need to be able to spot lions from a distance.
