A couple of weeks ago I saw a great post by one of the senior very generous women on this forum. Now I can't find it.

The post gave the amount of protein grams to aim for per kg of ideal body weight. In the same post there was a reference to how much fat to match.

I would be grateful if someone could either direct me to the post or to repost here.

I've been trying LCHF for a couple of months now. Lost around 3kg but seem to have stalled. I suspect I need more fat but not certain.

With thanks to all.

0.8-1g perkg of lean body mass, that's BMI minus fat %
.8 x your ideal weight.... is close enough and would put you at 1g perkg, so don't eat more than that.
a rough guide is what meat/fish that will fit in a sardine tin is 20g of protein and your BM calculation should come out to 50-75g of protein

an example burning about 800 cal body fat
carb..45g 180cal...
protein 60g 240 cal
plus fats/oils 111g = 1,000 cal..
total 1420 cal
