Ideas on what to eat

Hi Everyone.

I decided to give LCHF a second try after failing miserably on my first attempt due to improperly educating myself based on what my body needs and requires. I've started out today with having a cold brew coffee with My Protein Pro Milk Zero Sugar with 2 boiled eggs for breakfast and a Lidl Protein Roll with Bacon, Chicken, Avocado and Lettuce. My snacks are 16 cashews with 14 almonds , 3 snacking cucumbers and 2 mini Babybels and dinner is a Lamb Leg Steak with frozen Normandy veg. I can eat this for a few days but after that I'm at a loss as to what to do . Anyone got any ideas for quick and fuss free food to eat and prepare .

Thanks!!

There are many threads on how not to get bored on the diet, the popular are on the recent posts. You can also get some great ideas on the low carb forum, there is recipes, meals, alternative foods, snacks and more ideas how to low carb successfully. You can make homemade soups, curries, stews, try different foods!

I've been low carbing for over two years now (nearly three!) The best thing to do is plan your shopping and your meals ahead. And if you do make your homemade stuff, you can portion them up and freeze them.

Experimenting is half the fun.

Enjoy!

I get a lot of my LC ideas and recipes on Pinterest. Also sites like Diabetic Good Baking and Trim Healthy Mama are great and remember Google is always a great resource.
