My husband before he went into hospital here in Spain was on insulin twice a day (novomix 30) 40 units in the morning and 20 units in the evening. He has now been prescribed in hospital and again when he was discharged Abasaglar Kwik pen 18 units once a day. He feels great and his readings are good. Can we obtain on our return to the uk Abasaglar insulin (if not was the equivalent) and was he overdosing on the novomix

@PATMARSH16 Put Abasaglar in diabetes.co.uk search bar there is information on it their, apparently the company lost the patent last year for Lantus and Abasaglar is the equivalent to it. And you can get it in uk.
