:shock: I have noticed that my skin all over my body is hypersensitive and on the point of downright painful if my hubby tries to cuddle or knocks me by accident . Needless to say this sometimes affects my relationship . I am on Metformin Prolonged release tablets. My Blood sugars have been good before meals 6.9mmols.
I am so sensitive to being touched that I get angry and have been really fed up :cry:
Has any one experienced this before?

Hi Sheila,have you discussed this with your doctor??It may be unrelated to diabetes,worth getting checked out.

Hi

There is a rare side effect which can cause a rash or itching. However, I would advise you discuss this with your GP ASAP as it may be an allergic reaction.
You need to get it sorted quickly.

There are other alternative drugs available if this is the case
