Type 2 If I go onto insulin

Hi. It all depends on the reason for going onto insulin. Assuming you are a T2 with some excess weight, and not a mis-diagnosed T1, then you might be able to come off the insulin if you have a diet with suitably low-carbs. The carbs in the Western diet are typically far too high which can result in weight gain and T2. If that is the cause in your case then the right diet may be able to get you back to tablets; only time will tell. Obviously I'm guesing because I know nothing about your condition. If you are slim and possibly young and already on a low-carb diet then you could possibly be a mis-daignosed T1 in which case the insulin would be for life.
