Type 2 Ill and need bg help...

We've all got the vomiting bug. :(
When it hit (thursday night) my bg dropped to 4.9. All I ate yesterday was 2 Welsh cakes in the morning and some pringles in the evening. **** choices I know but I couldn't stomach anything else.
Anyway. The last thing I ate was last evening, and my BG is at 9!! What's occurring and how can I fix it??
I'm unmediated type 2.
 
It is better to keep away from milk as dairy products feed bugs

Well the welsh cakes and pringles wouldn't have helped but as you arent eating much and you have an infection your liver will be providing you with extra energy in the form of glucose. Not much you can do about it really other than drink lots of water, bovril, black tea and coffee. If you are being sick it is a good idea not to eat anything for a day after your last episode
