I'm after some advice regarding illness management. I know about sick days rules and have completed DAFNE. However, despite all this my blood glucose is still in 20s or registering HI (above 27.8 on my meter). I know it's the steroids but still have 3 days left.
My ketones are between 0.8 and 1.6 and I'm managing to eat very small amounts. I am very nauseous though, my legs feel wobbly and a bit dizzy.
I'm doing my BG 2 hourly and injecting 10-20% TDD as per guidance.
What can I do next?
