Hi katte. I've had it for 8 yrs now. I'm 18. From Sunderland. It does get you down a bit when you have lows but you just got to get on with life best you can. I'm in my 3 year aprentaship as a bricklayer. I am from Sunderland what do you do.
I can't believe I can't seem to find any one with type 1 close to Sunderland. Everyone seems far away. Obviously there will be but not on this forum. Have you get many friends with diabetes.
Yer it is. People don't understand do they what it's like. I go for odd pint on a Friday but find insulin doesn't like alcohol. I didn't kno and first time I went out I insulised for 4 pints what I had and it took me into a hypo. The thing is with hypo I coudnt remember anything
That's another thing you've got to be serious with, when you drive you've got to take bm with u, do one before u get behind the wheel, if your low before you drive , you can't get in the car for 45 mins, then check again x
