male and 165 CM , my bad how i missed thatHow tall are you? Are you male or female?
Hello!
I'm 15 years old and had diabetes T1 since i was 1 year old
I'm so underweight (80 LBS) , i've been eating careless and had countless hyperglycemia , even though i was eating a lot , my weight was going worse and worse till i reached 66 LBS , so last 5 months , i decided to change my eating plans entirely and count my crabs ( i eat less food then before) .etc and my H1ABC massively improved so does my weight, i went from 66 LBS to 80 LBS in less than 5 month's
yet , i'm still not satisfied about my weight
How dangerous is this situation? or itsn't dangerous at all?
What should i do to gain more and more weight?
Thanks in advance , i tried my best to make this topic as short as possible...
Thanks , i eat Eggs daily , i love them , but i don't drink milk or eat dairy , cause i don't like their taste + they have big impact on my BG , i eat like 50G-45G of rice + beef , sometimes chicken and meat on lunch and goes wellI think you should focus on your goal instead of how dangerous it might be, you have made a fine progress and you need to give yourself credit for that.
I think the most important is to get the right nutrients to build up your body, and some are defined by being essential, (proteins, vitamins (and fats in a smaller extend)) and one of the core essentials is to get the adequat number of grams of proteins daily and the right kind of proteins as well, you need the amount of proteins daily that your body would also need on your ideal weight , so if you can count in kg , I would suggest you to eat like 1 gram of protein for every kg body weight you should idealy end up on, so if you aim for like 50 kg , then eat 50 grams of protein daily. I you aim for 60 kg eat 60 grams a day of proteins.
Eggs are the most easy way to get the right kind of proteins, all kinds of essential proteins are in an egg, each egg of 60 grams contains ca. 7 grams of protein.... so if you should get all your proteins from eggs you should eat 7-10 eggs daily, that will be boring of cause so get some from meat and cheese as well and from milk... also take 1 multivitamin pill daily but only 1 , it is also unhealthy to get too much and eat vegetables in a variaty so you get around as many kinds as possible, the b vitamins one need almost daily as what we drink also wash them out again from the body , where the vitamin A,E and D you can get only in higher amount like maybe weekly...
If you have trouble eating enough, then eat small side dishes like some nuts 3 brazil nuts or walnuts and like that in between you main meals... and eat cherry tomatoes like candy and so on , and try to focus on the nutrient rich foods ... so you don´t waste to much energy on "empthy foods" that dont build your body up..
want to wish you good luck, and I think youcan do it... remember to move a little every day, and maybe lift a little weight with your arms you can use waterbottles for instace, because the way you have been loosing weight is very hard on you muscles also the heart, so take it easy but stille remember to move and use your muscles as they need care and to be used in a caring way while building up.. daily walking is a good way too... not stress your body by being exstreme rather be kind to it and steady and if stressed take a day off...

but my snacks are some junk-food , i try my best to get rid of junk-food but they taste **** good lol
on dinner , i eat Eggs and sometimes chicken nuggets and Full-grain bread , fiber rich
i just listed my fav , i eat many things that are friendly with my BG
Do you really think that this advice will benefit the OP @TheBigNewt?You need to hit McDonalds. Hard. Skip the fries though. And the milkshakes. And bring a full Novorapid pen with you lol! I have a cheese omelet with salsa daily.

The thread was "edited" but unfortunately not removed @Robinredbreast, I'm yet to understand why it still remains on this thread...Hi, giving this type of information to some one is inappropriate, especially a young adolescent (who is technically a child)
I hope you get your appointment soon @FuryG. It might be worthwhile making a note of things that you're finding difficult before you see your GP. I often find that I get brain fog when I have my appointments, and forget to mention things that I've been struggling with. Thanks everyone!
I will go to see doctor in few weeks, and i will keep you updated
BTW , i'm now 81.5 LBS
