Is their any one out there that is battiling with stoping smoking.

I am going crazy for a cigarett, This is my seconed day.

ANY TIPS ON HOW I CAN STOP THE CRAVING

I used Nicotinell 24 hour patches and stuck with it for the 3 month course. My doc prescribed them for me when he found out I was quitting :) I also consumed rather too many polo mints.

I'm on Champix, seems to be working so far. Before that I swore by the patches and lozenge, but the patch destroyed my skin, talk about itch.

I am also on champix, it has definately worked for me, but you still need willpower as the urge to have a cigarette still comes then goes, almost 4 weeks now and counting, I wish you good luck and lots of willpower to stay off the cigs, i am sure lots of fellow sufferers will support you on this site

Doesn't really answer your craving question nissan but worthy a mention I thought.

Reading this book did it for me, I stopped straight away and haven't looked back since, in year 5 now, best fiver I ever spent.

The revolutionary international bestseller that will stop you smoking - for good.'If you follow my instructions you will be a happy non-smoker for the rest of your life.' That's a strong claim from Allen Carr, but as the world's leading and most successful quit smoking expert, Allen was right to boast! Reading this book is all you need to give up smoking. You can even smoke while you read. There are no scare tactics, you will not gain weight and stopping will not feel like deprivation. If you want to kick the habit then go for it. Allen Carr helped millions of people become happy non-smokers. His unique method removes your psychological dependence on cigarettes and literally sets you free. Accept no substitute.Nine million people can't be wrong

I tried loads of times to give up - patches, willpower, hypnosis (lit one up on the way out), accupuncture and as a last restort those fake cigarettes. Gave up giving up and someone gave me the Allen Carr book that Terminator 2 refers to. I read it, the whole way through complaining that it was tosh and didn't tell me anything I didn't know. I found it repeatative and boring!
At the end of the book it tells you to stub out your last cigarette. I thought - what have I got to lose, nothing else has worked.

That was 8 years ago and I have not touched one since or even had the desire to so - good old Allen Carr worked for me. He might not work for everyone but..... what have you got to lose! :D

Good luck!
