Hi, I am basically a confused person who is trying to get to the bottom of health issues.

All started rather fast a month ago and keep pestering me. I am suspecting and investigating
a double whammy - insulin-dependent diabetes and hyperthyrodism. Both autoimmune.

I do not test positive for any antibodies. I simply started to produce low c-peptide and had minor
symptoms of hyperthyroid once in a while, which now became permanent. Just in a month, my body lost
10 kg of mass, lots of muscle as well. Seems like excessive thyroid hormone is highly catabolic and destroys
muscle fiber before fat.

I found some interesting remarks from a researcher, on why some people do not test positive for antibodies:

In addition, there are a bunch of people using LDN (Low Dose naltrexone) to modulate immune system. Large groups on Facebook, some stuff on it https://www.ldnresearchtrust.org/what-is-ldn, https://selfhacked.com/blog/top-22-scientific-health-benefits-low-dose-naltrexone/

It clearly helped a bunch of people (there is a remarkable study on Crohn's Disease patients somewhere) and people use it for other autoimmune issues. The issue with hyperthyroid is that major treatment is surgery but it does not remove autoimmune problem. The immune system will simply find a new tissue to attack and the problems will continue, on and on and on. That is why multiple autoimmune issues are commonly found in diabetics.

Anyone has thoughts on this?
