Hello can you help? My friend has just scored 8.4 on the free style freedom lite. He is in denial and drinks very sweet alcoholic drinks. What can happen if he does not do anything about this.

Hi Kathryn, a one off reading at that level isn't indicative of diabetes, according to when taken and what eaten. If in doubt, I suggest he has a proper rest at the doctor's.
