Did you fast for 10hrs too? I'm surprised.I had a teaspoon of cashew butter at midnight last night hoping the magic nuts would ward off my dawn phenomenon.
Didn't work
My liver is a rascal. I haven't had dairy for a few weeks and my BG in general has dropped as I am no longer a cheese monster. My DP has yet to get the memo. I just have to be patient.Did you fast for 10hrs too? I'm surprised.
It just goes to prove we're all different.
Ive had some lovely positive feed back.
I hope you catch your naughty liver out soon.
Thats why I posted the link to the other cashew thread. Worth reading. Apparently not all carbs are created equal - as in resistant starch.I just noticed that Cashews are relatively high in carbs. 3x higher than walnuts.

Cashew nuts are my friends. They are my french fries, my bag of crisps, my dinner and sometimes my food groups. They follow a boiled egg at breakfast time, cover a vinegar-drenched salad at lunch and, served with chili and coriander, accompany my beer at night.
They are my friends.
I don't know what they cost in the UK but here I pay between 6 and 8 pounds a kilo depending on the source and can go through a kilo in a week, easily.
Fried until a toasty golden brown in a little olive oil with a light dusting of roughly grated sea salt they are proper food. Real food. Friendly food.
Cashew nuts are my friends
