In praise of the cashew nut!

The only way to know if cashews or peanuts affect you is to use your meter to test. Everyone's response will be different based on their own physiology.
 
Gotta share this with you dedicated snackers.
Gently dry-fry a handful of sunflower seeds ( the grey shelled ones, not the stripy ones).
When they are toasted nicely, remove the pan from the heat and allow to cool for a short while.
Now sprinkle on some dark soy sauce and shake to mix. If the pan is hot this may bubble a bit. The flavour of the seeds is a bit like the twig-lets we get in the uk. Completely moreish!
 
When we go to Nandos for a treat I have chicken, halloumi and their peri-peri nuts instead of fries. Spicy mix of almonds, macadamias and cashews - gorgeous :hungry:
