Looking for anyone who's had any success with getting income protection insurance? I have an unrelated heart murmur, and diabetes and cardiac issues are proving to be a uninsurable combination, even though the heart condition is genetic (and an incidental finding on a clinical exam) and my diabetes is relatively well managed at the moment. Most insurers seem to rule me out, and I've only had luck with one company offering me life insurance which I don't require right now.
Any advise or success stories with similar situations welcome!
