I'm type 2 taking metformin and humulin, and novorapid before midday meal. Gradually increasing insulin levels under advice of nurse to bring down bg levels and spikes. I've noticed that even though I recently increased my novorapid, only by one unit, my bg spiked even more after a meal. In fact the levels didn't go down until late in the evening. It was quite high at 19. I have a feeling that this happened last time I increased dosage to start with, but did eventually settle down. Has anyone else had this experience. I use libre sensor and app for testing.
