Today on World Diabetes Day, new numbers on the prevalence ofdiabetes have been released by the International DiabetesFederation (IDF). They show that today 366 million peoplehave diabetes (previous 2010 estimate was 285 million), andthat half of them are undiagnosed. By 2030 the number is expected to rise to 522 million people (previous estimate was438 million).

On Sunday, the City witnessed the largest number people tested for blood glucose levels within eight hours — an astounding 3,573 people.
Nowt about the upshot tho. But I was down the local have a big G to celebrate on their behalf... foolishly in a moment of distraction I then had a coke and forgot to insist it was diet, that said I suffered no obvious effects... ex that it tasted ****. 8)
