Indapamide and BG

Just been prescribed indapamide for high BP. Understand it can elevate BG levels wondered if anyone has used the drug and what your experiences have been please?

I had to go onto this last November, on top of quite a lot of Ramipril. I'm struggling on less than 50g carbs to get my BS lower than about 10. Never imagined they might be linked. Will have to check this out.

Be interested to know what develops. I eat low carbish too so would really like to avoid any BG raising side effects.

I only took it for two days. Side effects were awful cramps caused by it losing blood sodium and interacting with another drug I take. Hopefully it's replant will have less dramatic effects!
