@Tracie1212, Sorry to hear that so are suffering so much with this. Your doctor is of course the one to assess whether your symptoms are due to gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (or GORD) for short, or due to something else.
There are a number of lifestyle changes which may help GORD e.g. everydayhealth.com - 10 Ways to Prevent GERD (Americans spell oesophageal as esophageal).
Looking through this above article my view is that these 'ways' do not appear to have any likely effect on BSL (but please check with your doctor).
One further piece of advice I was given by my own GP was not to eat standing up - a habit which busy people sometimes indulge in!! Best Wishes for a speedy resolution.
