Hi everyone!

Recently been diagnosed with type 1 and been using insulin. I've found though I'm getting really bad indigestion between the lower part of my rib cage and it won't shift.
Anybody else experienced this or is it just me?
I've googled it and there seems to be a lot of scary outcomes relating to heart disease and problems.

Cheers

Kyle

Acid reflux can be very very frightening as can be very painful and be very easily mistaken for a heart problem but even it is just acid reflux you see your GP. Deal with the problem now because persistent acid reflux causes long term damage to the esophagus which makes the problem worse and can lead to or be a sign of very serious health problems.

The medications to reduce acid production production are generally quite effective you may find over the counter Ranitidine together with Gaviscon from your local supermarket give you relief until you can see your GP and get prescription medication usually a proton pump inhibitor.

Hi
Definitely check with your GP, I had a bout that so bad I went face down in the street just as if I'd had a heart attack! Finished up as reflux but also wound up with Barrett's so if it is bad and frequent take yourself along and have a chat.
