Type of diabetes
Type 2
I'm not sure what to expect from the NHS. I have T2 and high blood pressure of between 180 and 200 over 80. Last Wednesday following an ECG on 12/12 I was booked in to have a blood test which was cancelled by a phone call on that morning and told that I don't need one until my annual diabetes review in March 2020 - which will be a phone call by the nurse.
My question is, is that ok? I am waiting to get fitted up with a 24 hour bp monitor when one becomes available.
I feel worried that they are somehow 'shelving' me. I don't want to cause a fuss and wondered if I am just expecting too much too soon. Any ideas please?

What was the blood test for?

It sounds like it has really worried you and that's not good for BP or bs!!
if you have an email system, could you email your doctor and ask why the lack of urgency? Our email system is great- in fact it's how I contacted to dr prediagnosis. You also get to edit your thoughts before clicking send!
