Injected and extra unit...

I think I just injected an extra unit of novorapid. It's looked like it was in 2 (90% sure) but it definitely made 3 clicks ... Do I just eat as I planned or eat an extra 30g carbs (my ratio for breakfast is 1:30)? Or maybe eat an extra 15g and hope for the best?

I would keep a snack and some hypo treatment nearby and keep testing. Unless you still feel peckish ? What was your BG when you took the insulin ?

My bg before taking the insulin was 5.6 (very good morning reading for me yay). I'll be going to work at half 7 so will stick a pack of dextrose tablets in my pocket just in case. Definitely don't feel peckish at all as I have already eaten toast and cereal (usual breakfast when working a morning shift)

My pen seems to make extra clicks sometimes, but it's always been ok so far, as Mo said, keep testing. Good readings too!

Thanks, I will keep testing and hope for the best. I'm pretty sure it was on 2 anyway.

Thanks, it's probably my best morning reading, which is strange as I had a bowl of cereal before bed (without insulin) which I've never done before.
