Injecting into your belly

At my last appointment was told to do more of my novo injections into my belly . Was told so much that day I can't remember where you go to if that makes sense .
I've looked at the pictures on internet , some say to go above the belly button some day don't so I'm confused as to where I can do them . And how far out ect.

At the moment the ones in my belly I'm doing inline with my belly button and under and out towards the sides as far as I feel I can go where there's enough skin to do so . So I know I'm getting a good rotation with them . Is this right or lol ?

Thank you .

i was the same when i first started injecting and when i had a lot of problems i spoke to the diabetes center and they showed me the best places

As long as you have fatty bits you can inject anywhere on the belly or on the midriff. I wouldn't go too close to the belly button but anywhere else is fine.

As the diagram that Crimsonclient shows, keep away from the belly button area.
Thank you for your reply , I haven't done any near the belly button just inline with it lol , so I shall keep doing that and stay well clear and rotate in the highlighted areas .
Thanks again

I've always wondered why this is?

TBH I've never thought to ask,.

A Google search is throwing up all sorts of answers such as lack of fat, blood vessels in the area through to poor insulin absorption, don't know which one is right but they do say to stay away from the navel area by around 2 inches.

Noblehead, if there's anyone who can solve the no jabbing 2 inches from navel then it is definately you. We await your definitive answer lol:)
