injecting problems

I was diagnosed type 1 about a year ago. I always get bruises where i inject or little red dots does anyone know any tips to prevent it? Am i doing it wrong?

I was told not to move the pen around while the needle is in the skin and never rub the injection site afterwards.

I get those little red dots if I havnt changed my needle and bruises if I hit a wee vessel xx
