To be honest I have never spoken of my diabetes before, i've never had reason. I just brushed it under the carpet and because my bloods always come back okay I just thought everyone must go through the same thing so I'll just suck it up and get on with it. It's only recently that things have got to the point that my energy levels and mental health have suffered significantly. I am fairly uneducated on diabetes, it's only now that I feel that I need to pay more attention to it in an attempt to get back to my old self. Previously I had just put all the symptoms down to getting old and it was just the way it is. Whenever I asked to see the specialist the doctor mentioned that all my bloods have come back okay and there was no need to see him. It's only with my other health problems that they have gone more in depth as to what is going on. Fingers crossed the specialist will come up trumps and get me on the road to a bit of a better regime.
