injection sites

I have to inject directly into my stomach 4x daily
I have tried other sites
arms bends the needles
as does my thighs due to muscle mass
So after injecting for what must be 14 years now
My stomach now needs a Bra
due to the mass on both sides which has become hard & purple due to the build up in insulin both
Humalog 100 & Lantus ...

Has anyone got advice they can give me please

What length needle do you use? I am very slim and wiry but I can inject in my thighs if I pinch up to get the flesh away from the muscle. Another possible site is the top of your bum. Have you tried there?
 
Hi Paul , just curious as to what size needles you use to inject, I'm currently using 6mm and have no problem injecting into my thighs. I don't have much but muscle on my thighs, and use my thighs as sites maybe 60% of the time for my novorapid. I believe you can get 4mm needles which may benefit you. If you've already tried or are using these needles then I'm afraid I can't really suggest anything else at the moment.
