Injection sites

At my last clinic visit I was told I had lipohypertrophy, and that I must stop injecting in the areas either side of my navel that I have been using too much. I was wondering whether any of you have tips on how to remember, record, vary, organise my MDI for this problem. I've got small lumpy areas on my stomach which I had assumed were just fat, but apparently it's a kind of scar tissue which could affect absorption of insulin in future, and perhaps is already doing so.

I'm sure I've read that you can purchase injection site templates to use on the abdomen. do a Google search and have a look.
