so i haven't set up temp basals yet haven't found the need but since yesterday i'm having alot of hypos 3rd one today?
the nurses ain't open till friday so i can't ring them to ask them *** is going on...

So just need some advice on how to set up a temp basal

i go into temp basal and it says 100% say now i want to get it down to 30% do i just knock the 30% of 100% so i go to 70% or down to 30% ?

Go down so that 70% Is showing and then you will have reduced the 100% by 30% .

Be careful on the tbr though and keep bg testing to make sure that yr basal hasn't been reduced by too much or not enough.
Have you lost some bodyweight recently or taken anything that might affect yr bg levels?

If not, then if the same tbr needs to be activated 2 or 3 days in a row, it will be time to think about adjusting either yr basals or your carb ratio and then see how you go.

i don't think i've lost weight i haven't eat as much as i normally do tbh so i guess that could be it...
i spiked on thursday night but managed to get it back down but have had 3 hypos today =.= i've set my basal profile to the -10% one for now so will see how that goes :p

Eating less food than you normally do will after a few days, start to affect bg levels because less insulin is used. Using a pump makes you sensitive I have found but you get used to it all and take everything in yr stride.

Time of year also impacts me - so around May I get more BG's below 4 and have to adjust my basal, so have two basals - winter and summer.

yeah totally bizarre -- my first spring / summer on a pump and over the last 3 weeks have had first thing in the morning hypos -- compared to 7's first thing in the winter
adjusted basals down this morning so first results tomorrow
fingers crossed here .
