It's a bit like Marmite at the moment, love it / hate it.

I've had a few problems since Friday only teething and probably my own fault, I've had a couple of highs 12-14 and a very low 2.4 which I've now sorted, I can't get to grips of a pump and remote I use to do it all on a pump and felt it whilst delivering "the magic stuff" but now I'm mainly using the handset but I still get the pump out to check, I just need I bit of self confidence in Bluetooth connectivity .

And every thing seems so small and fiddly probably don't help with large fingers.

And I haven't quite grasped these short cannulas iv been given roll on my order of 100 cm ones arriving . I dreamt last night I was been stabbed but the cannula had come out of my waist and the tape I'd secured it with meant wen I moved or rolled I kept pricking my self "Lovely"

But all in all I'm a happy bunny at the moment with it

I think your dream was a warning against those 100cm cannulas, LOL. They really would go right through you! 100mm?

Have you tried storing the pump in yr pocket yet? That should help you feel the movement of the motor and piston in pump pushing insulin through the tube.

For us girls...... one of the benefits of having pump in bra is that when the handset delivers the bolus, it can be felt as a mild vibration so you know that insulin has been delivered. When the vibration cannot be felt, you know there is something wrong ............like where is the pump.....dam its upstairs lol

My pocket is we're I've always kept my pump but I just don't feel this one. It's on full vibes and sound on handset I know I'm getting the basals and boluses as bloods are ok, perhaps I'll get out handbook and have a quick flick through

Bit frustrated at the end of this week keep forgetting to use the handset but I'm starting to get to grips with the pair of them. Totally fed up with the short cannulas I've pricked my ribs one night and last night woke up a 3.10 with the 6mm sticking in my back "ouch" that's after taping the tubing in a couple of places which someone suggested. It's just their too short
Now I placed an order with Roche last Friday and was told 3-4 working days but still nothing this morning.

I've got 4 cannulas left and the way I'm pulling them out + bank holiday.
Any way phoned Roche see where the order was after a search it was still in their warehouse "no good to me". After a lengthy chat with the young girl she's hopefully getting my order sent Express next day delivery. She's also packing a smaller order and sending that next day so hopefully I'll get one or the other delivered.

Poor show. This has never happened before with them.

Thats never happened with me either for not getting a delivery as expected. They are normally very good.

The thing is with the insight you don't hear it pumping the insulin in. It is a bit un nerving first but you just have to trust it.

I have trouble getting the pump unlocked by not pressing the buttons quick enough. However, if I am doing tube or cartridge change and can't get it to unlock I just slide the black cover and it automatically unlocks without pressing any buttons.

Its just learning to trust the pump when it is so quiet. Give it time.

Thats never happened with me either for not getting a delivery as expected. They are normally very good.

The thing is with the insight you don't hear it pumping the insulin in. It is a but un neeving first but you just have to trust it.

I agree the pump is so quiet delivering I'm getting used to it very slowly

Great I'm pleased as punch both my deliveries have turned up before 12 on a Saturday, my faith is restored in Roche again panic over !
