Insulin and heat

I keep my insulin in the fridge until I need to use it, then I take it out and leave it in a drawer as it says it needs to be used 'at room temp'.
Should I still be keeping this cool, although not chilled to fridge temp?

No. Insulin is fine up to 30 degrees which is not an issue unless you leave it in direct sunlight or in the car.
It is not practical to keep it in the fridge all the time unless you spend 24 hours at home.
