INsulin better or metformin in Preg

hi All
Is there any another type of metforim u can hve which doesnt causes diaherra .Or one should switch to insulin in preg?

Hi. If you don't have Metformin SR (Slow Release) prescribed then do ask for this version as it is much kinder. There are a few other drugs that could help you other than Metformin depending on your diabetes. I think the GP might only want to use insulin if you have very high blood sugar. So, do discuss options with the GP including the Met SR.
