Insulin Production by Human Embryonic Stem Cells

Hello!
In 2014 ,in melton lab (dr melton,harvard university) they were able to produce glucose sensing mature beta cell similar to the beta cells in pancreas.
Human/clinical Trails were expected to begin in 3-5 years.I searched a lot but couldn't found any data regarding the progress of that research.
Does anyone have any idea about the progress of that research?
 
If you search on JDRF and stem cells, you'll see further, fairly lightweight details on this point. They are still a long way off...
