Insulin pump or Dexcom with type 2?

Type 2 Can I administer insulin via a pump?
I've been type 2 for 11 years. I've gone from just Metformin then adding Gliclazide, then Victoza to finally switching GLP1 ti Trulicity.
As hard as I try my BG numbers vary. I'm desperate to have something like the Dexcom idea but wonder if I'll get it because I'm Type 2. And also on Humulin M3. Has anyone had any success in the UK with the NHS?
 
I could be wrong, but I don't think Type 2 diabetics would be considered for the pump unless they are having great problems with MDI (multiple daily injections) using a long acting insulin once or twice per day and a quick acting insulin for each meal or snack.
 
Insulin pump is just another way to administer basal/bolus insulin.
The advantages over MDI are the smaller doses (I can give myself 0.05 units) and the variable basal.
If you are only using Humulin M3, you do not use a fast acting insulin and adjusting your dose according to what you eat.
I have not read about anyone with type 2 qualifying for a pump on the NHS and your insulin regime (assuming I am correct about the Humulin M3) would not be appropriate.
